Watercolorist Kathleen Giles Featured for March
Pittsford Fine Art
4 N Main St.
Mar 4, 1:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Kathleen Giles is the featured artist for March at Pittsford Fine Art, the artists-run gallery she joined last September. Since joining the gallery, Giles was a featured instructor in an online event, Watercolor Live, that attracted students from 130 countries to learn from what the event touts as “some of the world’s most accomplished artists.”
“I am drawn to subjects that are filled with color and dramatic lighting,” Giles said. “They can be beautiful but often have an underlying story. My work captures a moment in time.”
Also continuing through the end of March is the Harry Bliss retrospective.
Giles will be at the gallery to meet visitors and show her new paintings during First Friday from 1 to 8 p.m; check the website (pittsfordfineart.com) for other hours. Parking is available in front of the gallery, at 4 North Main Street, or at the nearby public parking lot.
