Rochester Contemporary Art Center
137 East Ave.
Nov 3, 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Tomorrows will be leaving our walls soon! Stop by on First Friday to see this diverse exhibition exploring ecological and societal uncertainties before it’s gone. Did we mention it’s interactive?
> Don a headset and participate in Eva Davidova’s Mixed Reality installation. Both the visitor wearing the headset and those observing are able to interact with the piece at once, making it a unique experience every time.
> Walk alongside Jude Griebel’s life size, detailed sculptures, and crouch to see the parade of protesting insects.
> Sit with Eryk Salvaggio’s AI-generated video work and watch as it transitions between different organisms.
> Learn about heirloom fruit varieties threatened by industrialization through Sam Van Aken’s etchings and letterpress descriptions.
> Observe [phylum]’s organic and technological installation, which has been evolving every day throughout the run of the exhibition.
