Magellan®, Inc. Real Estate and Relocation features a gallery and will exhibit artist Lynne Feldman’s exotic artwork. Lynne grew up in Manhattan’s Upper West Side and started taking art lessons at the age of four at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Museum of Modern Art. Her more formal training began at 12 at the Art Student League of New York on West 57th where she studied figure drawing and oil painting for the next 15 years. Later at Bennington College, she fell in love with a collage technique that involved gluing fabrics directly onto canvas. Lynne incorporates a lot of pattern in her paintings and different design to keep the eye moving around to create a more interesting composition. Every shape, line and color are absolutely intentional and leads your eye where she wants it to go around the painting. You soon realize she loves nature, plants, animals, and everyday simple things that people do that give meaning to life.
