The Yards Collaborative Art Space invites you to a new exhibit put together to launch Lake Affect Magazine volume 60!

We want to celebrate the release of the magazine by celebrating the artists, businesses and cultural institutions that have contributed to Lake Affect’s latest issue by exhibiting the work and readings of magazine contributors. This event highlights the many local partners that work together with smallMatters Institute to support the Rochester community and beyond.

Come see artworks commissioned and featured in the newest volume, like the larger than life photo montage created by Jess Kszos and Brandon Kelloway celebrating the Cobbs Hill Community of Basketball Enthusiast, or The Imagining Sports series from painters Chuck Tingley, William Benson and Richard William.

See the work of contributing artists to the latest issue, including Bill Mowson, Ingrid Van Slyke, Cris Metcalf and Matt Saxon. Also featuring Aimee Kaiper.

The Yards Staff, Kristina Kaiser, Molly “The Darling Revolution” Elizabeth, Emily Collins and Matt Vanderlee have created original prints from deconstructed past issues of Lake Affect that will be available in an extremely limited run with the new issue at this exhibit only!
