“Home” Featuring Gallery Partners
Image City Photography Gallery
722 University Ave.
Jul 5, 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Image City’s featured exhibit focuses on the interpretation of the theme of “Home” as seen through the eyes of seven Image City Partners. Gil Maker, who organized the exhibit, says “Home can mean many different things to different people,” so when he invited the other partners to participate, he told them to include images based on their own unique interests. The display, with images by Partners Marie Costanza, Steve Levinson, Gil Maker, Don Menges, Luann Pero, Betsy Phillips, and John Solberg, encompass an array of photos with a broad range of subjects such as personal home objects, mansions, bird homes, humorous homes and homes off the beaten path. Some of the images that viewers will see include the following: unique images of house plants, a bird enjoying a relaxing day in an “outdoor sauna,” calming window curtains, surreal images taken with a fisheye lens, and a home made by a child.
In addition, Steven Randell exhibits his photography in the Neuberger Gallery. Michael Shoemaker and d dargan teska are in their third of three shows as Visiting Artists. Guest Photographers include Dick Beery, Robert Crumrine, Tom Kredo, Betsy Lewis, and Tami Underhill. Galley Partners are Dick Bennett, Marie Costanza, Steve Levinson, Gil Maker, Don Menges, Luann Pero, Betsy Phillips, John Solberg and Sheridan Vincent.
This exhibition runs June 11 – July 7. There is no admission fee, and the Gallery is accessible to everyone. Learn more here.
