jm-ART gallery is now offering work at The Artisan Cove, which is a new co-op on the ground floor level of Piano Works Mall at The Artisan cove. My original paintings and many small printed items will be on display as well as the work of over 90 artists and artisans. My website is https://jm-art.com/ And I’m including cards, puzzles, scarves, totebags and prints in my space at the Cove, all displaying my art work. I must say I’ve heard my puzzles are not for the faint of heart. I think I only have one left for Christmas gifting at the moment, but will order some more for January. For this opening, I am going to feature Mad Color!! No cohesive subject matter, but my mad, rainbow colored palette will take the focus…be sure to be prepared!!

My personal gallery will only be open upstairs at Central Creatives for private viewings or special events from now until the end of March. This is my time to paint!! My work is changing; I’m now including more mixed media pieces and more complex and often complete fantasy work. However I’m sure I’ll never stop painting florals and landscapes with bright colors and high value contrasts. It’s who I am. But I know I’m also looking forward to creating more new portraits. The human figure and face is still the most challenging subject I can attempt.

And to make this First Friday really special, there will be a wine tasting as well as amazing demos by 4 different Artisans during the evening. Be sure to be there from 5pm; fun, informative things are happening at The Artisan Cove. The Cove is a shop on the 1st floor parking level, right behind the new Taco Bell. See you in the New Year!!
