The first USS Rochester (CA-2), an armored cruiser laid down in 1890, served during and after World War One.  A 48″ replica is being constructed for the Society by master ship modeler Timothy Igoe.  This event is the kick off of a capital campaign to fund the construction.  See the history of the ship, meet Tim and artist Doug Stewart who is doing a woodcut print as premium for the campaign.
