Borinquen Dance Theatre Performance, Paper Fair & Open Galleries at FCAC
Flower City Arts Center
713 Monroe Ave.
Nov 4, 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm
In celebration of Hispanic Heritage, we will be hosting a performance by Borinquen Dance Theatre upstairs in our Lighting Studio at 6pm. Born during the 1981 Puerto Rican Festival of Rochester, Borinquen Dance Theatre is a not-for-profit organization established in 2002 that gives Rochester youth access to a world class dance studio. Please read more about them here.
You also won’t want to miss out on our Paper Fair downstairs in our Letterpress Studio from 4 – 8pm. Browse handmade paper, stationery, marbled paper, Magnani, Hahnemuhle, and more. Pick up your copy of our 2023 Printmaking & Book Arts Calendar.
Don’t forget to stop by our upstairs galleries to check out two Artist Residency shows: “Fungi: Photogram to Photogravure” featuring photographer Donald Hyatt and “Process” featuring interdisciplinary artists Evan Bobrow, Jessica Cheng, Laliee Josephine, and Skyla Pisciotti.
This event is free and open to the public. We look forward to seeing you at 713 Monroe Ave!
