First ever First Friday event at Stuart’s Spices! Come view an eclectic mix of original acrylic paintings by emerging Rochester artist April Younglove while enjoying dips and treats made with spices from Stuart’s. Younglove recently left her job at RIT to more fully pursue her passion for painting. She began working to turn her hobby into a vocation about five years ago and experimented with a variety of styles.

For this debut solo show, she has selected 11 different paintings from her closet that show the evolution of her work. Subjects include realist paintings of flowers, abstract works that explores line and color, and expressionist paintings that draw from nature and fantasy.
