The summer season is the time when Axom Gallery and Axom Objects pair their fine art with contemporary furnishings to create ‘Artful Living’.  This year, Axom has invited Rochester’s creative couple, Michael Moncibaez and Hannah Betts to transform the gallery space with a collaborative installation using their art and design sensibilities. The creation of Congruent offers St. Monci and Hannah Betts the opportunity to break through boundaries of preconceived notions of Art & Design and rethink the traditional model of an Art Gallery.  Congruent takes the concept of Artful Living and creates an environment that goes beyond the pairing of paintings and objects to a complete immersive environment.  “It’s like creating a painting with three-dimensional space”, says St. Monci
