Reaching Out – Art made in absence of direct contact
The Yards Collective
50-52 Public Market Way
Apr 1, 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

James Derek Sapienza and Karrah Henahan-Teague will both be showing paintings made throughout the pandemic/isolation up to present. Sapienza’s two distinct series play color field against landscape, both immense with detail, both calming, and potentially haunting. Teague’s energetic, sometimes gritty work depicts repeating motifs and features a mix of brightly-toned media on a large scale.

Patrick Sullivan Doyle will be installing his piece “The Artist Has Never Been Present” in which he addresses the artist’s existence in a time when our every move is commodified.
